Steve Harris, son of Everette and Virginia

Steve Harris is the third child of Everette Harris and Virginia Holcomb Harris. He is a successful businessman who lives in Lewisville, N.C. He and wife Bettye are the proud parents of Amalie, a speech pathologist who lives in Greensboro, N.C., and Allyson, who lives in Denver, Colo.

The Miller kids were always in awe of the Harris kids' skills and activities, especially those involving horses. Here Steve is during one of our visits in the 1960s.

During my November 2011 visit to Winston-Salem, N.C., I had a delightful visit with Steve, his lovely wife, Bettye, and one of their two children, Amalie. Thanks for a delightful evening, Harris cousins!
