Cissie's kids -- David and Dee Ann -- and Brother's -- Pam, Chris and Cathy -- got together as often as their parents could manage in the 1960s and 1970s. It wasn't easy, because Brother was in the Army and forever getting transferred somewhere, including overseas. But whenever we managed it, it was great fun. Some snapshots:

Pam, David, Chris and some other kids, probably Hal and Debbie Southern, at the home of family friends Mildred and Harold Southern in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Cathy and Dee Ann swam in Lake Pepin, part of the Mississippi River, in Old Frontenac, Minn., in the late 1960s. The Millers moved to Minnesota when Bill was transferred to Vietnam in 1967, and settled there after he retired from the Army.
